Polymer Make-up Unit (PMU foir short) is a self-contained package unit for the automatic dissolution and dosing of polymers from solid powders.
With the 3-chamber system, the polymer is dissolved with water in the first chamber. The product then matures in the second chamber. The prepared solution is transferred into the third chamber via the over-flow and then pumped out as liquid solution for flocculation
The PAM powder goes from hopper, and delivered through screw conveyor and drop in to the venturi to pre-mix
The mixture of powder and water goes into tank 1 for further stirring, and when it is full, it will goes int tank 2 for curing, about 1 hour
Cured polymer solution will go out and feed into flocculantion tank of multi disc screw press by diaphragm metering pump
the PMU is mainly used for the preparation and addition of polyacrylamide (PAM) powder medicament, PAC medicament, feed water, circulating water and other water treatment system dry powder medicament. It is the first procedure of flocculantion for below 4 sludge dewatering machiens, they are plate type filter press, belt filer press, decanter, DAF, as well as the multi disc screw press.

Inorganic polymer, also known as inorganic coagulants, whose main function is to increase the collision of coagulated solids, agglomerate their hydrolysates, bridge flocculated, and form sedimentable or filterable floc. When the sludge has special properties or complex components, and only one type of polymer Flocculant PAM cannot be well flocculated, an inorganic Flocculant can be added at the front end of the PAM to achieve a certain coagulation effect and promote effective flocculation of solids.

And also there are also paint fog coagulat:bentonite and macromolecule kinds; the bentonite is yellow gel with addition rate 0.5-2.0%, and the macromolecule is colorless liquid with addition rate 0.5-2.0%.
